This telecommunications company provides high-speed fiber Internet services to residents across Texas and beyond. Their customer-forward approach replaces annual contracts and mystified pricing with real human support and reliable in-home connectivity.
The client came to us overwhelmed by a cluttered tech stack and scattered data. This patchwork of disconnected parts made it difficult for them to streamline operations, track KPI progress, or gain the clarity they needed to make critical business decisions.

These systems house customer accounts, billing information, support logs, usage data, work orders, and other relevant details. So when it came to understanding exactly what was happening with their customers and service, the data was fragmented—falling short of actionable insights.
This client tapped our team in to build a centralized data warehouse complete with custom dashboards (both operational and executive) in Apache Superset.
We developed five dashboards:
Each dashboard contained team-critical insights that laddered up to a complete picture of their business insights. This ensures that everyone—from team members who need detailed insights to executives who want the big picture—can quickly understand and act on their data.
The first step was to ingest the data, consolidating it from all the disparate sources into one place.
We utilized Airbyte to process the client’s high-volume data with speed and accuracy. Airbyte connectors enabled rapid integration that met the project’s short timeline, even with non-native sources.
Once the data was consolidated, we scrubbed, organized, and prepared it for the final dashboards.
Using Structured Query Language (SQL) in ClickHouse, we cleaned and standardized every bit of data, leaving no inconsistency unresolved. We also added automations like calculated metrics to turn raw inputs into meaningful totals.
The newly structured data was ready for the dashboards. We built each of the five Superset dashboards with relevant KPIs, easy data filtering, and the client’s custom brand styling.
These new dashboards were built to make it easy for people at every level of the client’s team to understand their data at a glance. For instance, we merged the client’s overlapping internet “speed tiers” into standardized service plans, making performance and customer data much easier to analyze.
To bridge information silos, we ensured that any authorized team member could access and easily use the dashboards, regardless of technical skill.
We set all our clients up for success with comprehensive training on how to use their new dashboards confidently, ensuring they can seamlessly adopt their new system from day one.
We showed this client how to create new datasets, charts, and filters in Superset, as well as how to back up and export dashboards for extra peace of mind and reporting capabilities.
